So essentially (as per the title), YouTube Ad Views have dropped significantly in June. We are unable to conclude if this is anything to be concerned about as we do not have the full picture yet.

Let’s look at the stats:

May – Top ten videos (most of which were owned by Clash of Clans) generated a combined 115 million views. The top video was a Clash of Clans one and brought in a whopping 87.7 million views.

June – Top ten videos generated a combined 51.1 million views (under half of May). The top video was a YouTube collaboration with the International Rescue Committee called #morethanarefugee and it brought in 16.8 million views.

At this stage, we have more questions than answers, but it is certainly something to keep an eye on.
