This one slipped under the radar. Google have announced that they are expanding the data sharing between Google Adwords and YouTube.

You can now use YouTube audience lists with remarketing lists for search ads (RLSA).

You can set up the YouTube remarketing lists in the audiences section in the shared library. Just select “YouTube users” when you create a new list….simple.

YouTube remarketing lists have a number of list type options depending on the action the user has taken on your YouTube channel.

 

We almost missed this one, it slipped under the radar on the 11th July (just as well we reread Google’s blogs). This is an interesting development and provides a much wider scope for remarketing. As we all know, someone watching a video is a good indication of intent and will be a much warmer lead than just a page view.
