In a story that will be told to their grandkids, a rogue customer support employee at Twitter decided to go out with style on their last day on the job.
The employee suspended (or deleted, we have not yet had official confirmation) the President of the US’s official Twitter account.
For 5-11 mins (we are getting different stories from different sources), The Don could not insult, harass, bully, be bigotted, racist, sexist, or any of his usual mannerisms on Twitter.
Essentially, this boils down to a massive embarrassment for Twitter, and the rogue employee never having to buy a beer ever again…..what a legend!
Earlier today @realdonaldtrump’s account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee. The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since been restored. We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.

Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day. We are conducting a full internal review. https://t.co/mlarOgiaRF
