After being awakened by the power of ‘’fake news’’, Facebook has announced that it will soon only promote genuine and organic reach from reliable sources.
Basically, this is one of the tactics that will be implemented to fix the flaws Mark Zuckerberg addressed recently.
This will have a collateral damage on corporate investments – meaning if you are a marketer working for a Fortune 500 companies, well, expect your Facebook reach to take a dive.
To put things into perspective, it’s not the first (and probably won’t be the last) time that Facebook has shifted its model – and most social media marketers should already have a plan of attack.
If you don’t, try reaching out to different Influencers now… Before the next algorithm comes up and Influencers are treated as sponsor’s platforms rather than regular people connecting with their followers.
