It’s official! Google has released its “More results” button for mobile search.
Those of you familiar with the traditional search results on mobile devices will note that normally, there is a “Next button which takes you to a page two, then three etc.
The new approach will add the results to the current page, similar to the “Show more results” within image search. According to Google, the button will load more organic results first, then load the relevant ads underneath the organic results.
We’ve launched a new “More results” button that makes it easier & faster to get more search results on mobile. Now additional listings load below the ones already being viewed, rather than the old “Next” button that would load an entirely new page…. pic.twitter.com/A4ZMXFlwd0

The rollout is for the Google app on iOS and Android, as well as the major mobile browsers. The only major exception at this stage is in Chrome on iOS (which they have noted is coming soon).
It will be interesting to see what happens to the paid search results on mobile devices. Let us know if you notice any significant changes.
